We believe a working paint should have soundness of mind, body, strength, agility, style with an overall eye pleasing appeal. It is these qualities that our breeding program is based upon.
Painted Pasture Ranch is owned and operated by Karen Bittner a regular member in the A.P.H.A. (American Paint Horse Association), A.M.H.A (American Miniature Horse Association), A.M.H.R (American Miniature Horse Registry), (American Pinto Horse Association) Along side is daughter Katlyn also enjoys working/riding the horses.
Painted Pasture has been operating for over 16 years, and produced some of the best hard working, well-mannered paint horses around.
Karen went back to school at Red River Colledge in Graphic Design and Communications
PPR has been chosen as an Official Award Winner "Award of Excellence" Web site award 2010/2011
Karen has her New Horizons Equine Education (APHA) Certificate for Applied Breeding and Reproduction, Also her Certificate of Achievement in the Paint Horse Industry.
Received 2 Certificates in Horsemanship in 2008 clinics with Jay OJay.
Attended many clinics in over 14 years such as Horsemanship, Showing, Barrel Racing to name a few.
Karen Has shown in APHA also local shows for over 13 years. Won over 85 classes in halter and/or performance. In awards and prize money. Started showing miniature horses for 2010.
Involved with Manitoba Agriculture in Speeking on Safe Handing of livestock. (Horses, Cattle)

Boarding At Painted Pasture Ranch
Painted Pasture Ranch has pasture or stall boarding available by day ($10.00), week, month. We also have 2 large foaling stalls plus individual stalls. We provide individual feeding programs for selected horses. Painted Pasture Ranch has turn out pens for grazing & exercise in selected groups, depending on gender & temperament. 1 outdoor riding arena apx 200X150, also 2 Round pens available for use to our clients. If you're coming up for the day or week, hotel arrangements can be made. We are always happy to see you.
Breeding
Painted Pasture Ranch is proud to have 2 AMHR & AMHA Miniature Horse stallions (breeding available) Ltd's Mi-Te Fine & Pineywood Moonshot
Hand breeding is $600.00 (Miniature Stallion) and is available anytime, please call to book your mare (no LFG on overo breedings)
Painted Pasture Charges $5.00 day mare care with foal $6.00, We reserve the right to limit availability for the year and we give multiple mare discounts.
